Chapters

Just another word for "Seasons"

These paintings depict life like a book filled with chapters. Each horizon line represents the beginning and end of a chapter. The last horizon represents the exit from this life and entrance into eternity. Each chapter has its own ups and downs, highs and lows, valleys and hilltops. There are deserts to cross and rivers to ford; places that are dark and hard to understand and hilltops where our vision becomes clear again. Sometimes a chapter ends abruptly--taking you by surprise--but then suddenly you realize, you've started a new chapter.
